Delete Account

At Koki Software, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. Koki Flashcard provides you with a simple and quick method to request account deletion directly within the app.

You can access your account and request deletion at any time. The account deletion process is designed to ensure that you are fully in control of managing your personal information, in compliance with international data protection regulations including GDPR.

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your Koki Flashcard account, please follow the 3 simple steps below. The entire process takes approximately 1 minute.

Step 1: Log in to the account you want to delete.

Open the Koki Flashcard app on your mobile device (iOS or Android). Log in using the email or social account that you used to register. Please make sure you are logged into the correct account that you wish to delete.

Step 2: Go to Profile, then select Delete Account.

After logging in successfully, tap the Profile icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom of the profile page, and you will see the "Delete Account" option. Tap on this option to proceed.

Step 3: Confirm the account deletion.

The system will display a confirmation dialog to ensure that you truly want to delete your account. Read the warning information carefully and tap "Confirm" to complete the account deletion. Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you request account deletion, all data associated with your account will be removed from our system. Specifically, the following data will be permanently deleted:

  1. Account information: your name, email, profile picture, and login credentials.
  2. Learning history: all learning progress, statistics, scores, and achievements earned.
  3. Custom vocabulary packs: any flashcard sets that you have created or customized.
  4. Synced data: all data that has been synced to the cloud will be completely removed.

Processing Time

Account and associated data deletion will be carried out immediately after you confirm your request. In some cases, backup data on our system may take up to 30 days to be completely removed from all of our servers.

Important Notice

Before deleting your account, please note the following:

  1. This action is irreversible. Once deleted, your account and all data cannot be recovered in any form.
  2. If you are using a Premium subscription, deleting your account will not automatically cancel your subscription on the App Store or Google Play. Please cancel your subscription before deleting your account.
  3. You will not be able to log in again with the same account after deletion. If you wish to use the service again, you will need to create a new account.

Alternative to Account Deletion

If you simply want to take a break from using the app without losing your data, you can log out of your account instead of deleting it. Your data will be preserved and you can log back in at any time. If you are experiencing issues with the app, please contact our support team before deciding to delete your account — we are always ready to help you.
